The Minooka JV girls beat the Plainfield South girls basketball team 48-19 on Jan. 10. The girls played well and this game was helpful in the bettering of the team.

As a team, we are always looking to improve in every area. We are particularly working on better box outs and communicating on the floor more,” head JV coach Brai Munson said.

This shows how the girls are always trying to improve and better themselves even in easy wins such as this game.

Sophomore and leading scorer Sami Samulis said they would have rather had it to slow down more on offense.

Being up by a large score can make it better to just play the defensive part of the game.

“I was happy with how my team played together and the results of the game,” Gwyn Pfiefer, sophomore and lead scorer, said.
