Ryan Kuchar plays forward for the Minooka varsity boys basketball team.  This interview with Nook News has been edited for clarity and length. 

Q: How would you describe your style of play in basketball?
A: I bring a lot energy and act as a leader for the team.

Q: How long have you been playing basketball?
A: I have been playing since freshman year.

Q: What do you do outside of practice to get better?
A: I watch a lot of film and lift.

Q: Who pushes you the most?
A: My teammates definitely push me to get better everyday.

Q: Why do you play basketball?
A: I just like competing and I can do that in every part of basketball.

Q: Do you have any siblings?
A: I have two brothers and a sister who are all younger than me.

Q: Do you play any other sports?
A: I am a pitcher for the varsity baseball team here at the school.

Q: What if your favorite food?
A: Probably either steak or pasta.

Q: What is your favorite MLB team?
A: My favorite team is the Chicago White Sox for sure.
