Abbey Petric

Abbey Petric is a senior in the Media and Journalism 4 class. In class, she is an Editor-in-Chief for the 2021-2022 school year. In her freetime she enjoys working or going out with friends to fun events. After high school, she plans to major in journalism at JJC.

At the North entrance of the Brookfield Zoo, you walk down a short path in order to get into the zoo. When you arrive at the tunnel, there is a Brookfield Zoo sign with different animals designed around it. During the Christmas season there is a projected picture of snowflakes on each end of the tunnel. There are also lights hung up around both sides of the tunnel to light it up even more.

The team runs back into position when Michael Ruettiger, junior, scores with 13 minutes left of the first half. The referee signals that the ball is to be placed back into the center of the field.

Ten minutes into the first half of the game against Providence, Ben Joder, senior, scores making it a 1-0 game. As the team was walking back into position, they high-fived and thanked Joder for his powerful strike that gave them an early lead.

Izaak Avalos, senior, takes a free kick. With his arm up, he signals he is not moving yet. Once the referee blows his whistle Avalos can continue and follow through with a power kick to put the ball into play for his teammates.
