Q: When did you start playing basketball?
A: Last year was my first year.

Q: Why did you start playing basketball?
A: Always loved the game, and I always wanted to be a part of a team and contribute to them. I’ve always wanted to play but never got a chance so I’m taking advantage of it.

Q: What’s your favorite part of basketball?
A: Being with and around my teammates creating a second family.

Q: Can you dunk?
A: No, I can’t. I’m close though.

Q: Which parent do you look up to most?
A: My dad. I think we have a connection and he used to play basketball.

Q: Who inspired you to start playing basketball?
A: Zach LaVine.

Q: If you couldn’t play basketball what would you play?
A: Football it always seemed fun.

Q: Which athletes do you look up to most?
A: DeMar DeRozan, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Zach LaVine.

Q: What always makes you keep playing basketball?
A: I have a competitive nature. I’m looking to win and want to make the school’s program better. It is also something I want to do, and it’s fun.

A: Portugal.
