Minooka girls varsity lacrosse took a tough loss to Lockport on April 8.
“We could have kept our spirits higher because at times we got down on ourselves,” junior Hannah Finkelstein said.
Minooka lost to Lockport 16-3. Many turnovers and missed opportunities made it difficult for Minooka to take the lead.
“We need to get more clear and be more open since we struggled with returning the ball,” junior Kate Tadel said.
The team definitely has untapped potential, and just needs to find their missing piece.
“In the beginning we were united, and it was great to see us still doing good against a competitive team,” Finkelstein said.
Despite the tough loss, Minooka showed many moments of determination. The team continued to push through each quarter and tried their hardest.
