The Minooka JV girls lacrosse team went against Mother McAuley on March 28 and went down with a fight, losing 9-2.
“We definitely could have communicated more and we are going to work on getting open and running on offense,” freshman Bella Papandria said.
The girls were very aggressive but the other team was just able to pull it off and work their offense very well.
Despite losing, the Minooka defense was very strong, preventing several goals.
“Our attack is pretty good but we do need to have work on better plays and work getting better clears,” freshman Hope Brooks said.
The girls overall had a good competition and to win future games will work harder and be more aggressive than they already are.
Minooka’s JV lacrosse team will go on to execute other wins.
