Jacob Baker plays wide receiver on the Minooka sophomore football team. He wears the number 10. This interview with Nook News has been edited for clarity and length. 

Q: How long have you been playing football?

A: I’ve been playing football for about eight years.

Q: Why did you start playing football?

A: I started playing football at first to have fun, but then I realized it’s a sport I am going to play in the future so I decided to stick with it.

Q: How are you used on the offense?

A: I am used on the fly team. To get as many passing yards as possible. 

Q: What is your goal for the season?

A: My goal is to score a couple touchdowns and win against the teams we lost to last year.

Q: What’s your inspiration to play?

A: My inspiration to play is to play in the future. I hope to do well in high school and hope to play in college.

Q:How many touchdowns are you scoring this year?

A: I hope to score at least 5 touchdowns. 

Q: Who is your favorite NFL player?

A: My favorite NFL player is Tyreek Hill.
