The freshman Minooka baseball team had a big win over Herscher at home with the score being 12-2. Players like Brayden Franson, Brody Murdoch, and Brody Fox led the team towards the victory with outstanding performances at the game on April 6.

“Personally I think I did pretty good,” Franson said. “Went 3-4 at the plate, which I’m proud of, but not many balls hit to me while I was in the outfield.”

This game brought Minooka into a 8-0 season so far, dominating their competition with ox’s pitching combined with strong fielding by players like Franson and powerful hitting by people like Jackson Kenny.

“I think we did pretty good as a whole. Won 12-2 so could not have done bad with that score and lots of RBI’s” Franson said

Brody Murdoch pitched 4 innings and gave up1 run, 3 hits, with 2 strikeouts. Evan Bullis closed out the game. 

 Fox went 2-2 with 2 additional walks. Anthony West went 1-2 with an RBI.

“The team all around did good with getting guys out in the field and efficiency, and I think I did pretty good as well with pitching and overall everyone had a great game,” Murdoch said.
