Q: When did you start playing soccer?
A: I played when I was 3 in the park district league at Channahon.
Q: Who is your favorite soccer player?
A: Definitely Cristiano Ronaldo, I’ve always looked up to him since I was a little kid.
Q: What is challenging about being a forward?
A: Trying to find the right spaces to receive the ball and the right time to go forward and score.
Q: Who is someone you look up to on the team and why?
A: Andrew Calderon. He knows how to lead the team and talk to us, and he’s just a good leader. He knows what to do.
Q: Who do you think will be your toughest opponent this year and why?
A: Bolingbrook, they are a tough conference matchup. Last year they beat us by a lot and we’ll be looking to bounce back against them this year.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do pregame?
A: I like to listen to music and maybe eat a little snack before. It just gets me in the right mindset before the game.
Q: How is the team looking different from last year?
A: I think we’re more of a team. Last year we were a bunch of individuals and because of that we’re ready to take on more opponents.
Q: What is your favorite type of bird and why?
A: Definitely an eagle because it is the bird of America.
