Jackson Locke is on the JV golf team. He started golfing in 8th grade. His best round of golf he shot a 41 on nine holes.  This interview with Nook News has been edited for clarity and length. 

Q: How is this season going so far?

A: For the team it has been going great, but for me it hasn’t been going the best, but I can improve.

Q: What motivates you while golfing?

A: What motivates me is getting better everyday so I can play the best and be the best version of myself.

Q: What are your strengths and weaknesses on the golf course?

A: Recently my strengths have been driving the ball, and my weaknesses are my irons.

Q: What do you do after a bad hole?

A: I have to mentally prepare myself for the next hole and get anything bad about the last hole out.

Q: What do you do after a win?

A: The team and I chill out at the course and drink some Dr. Pepper.

Q: Who is your favorite golfer?

A: Phil Mickelson because he is one of the best lefty’s out there.
