The coaches felt really prepared for this meet.
“They’ve been working extremely hard and it’s great to see all that work pay off,” coach Lundin said.
The athletes also agreed they were well prepared for this.
“I was really relaxed, I didn’t have any nerves going into the meet. I just ran and PR’ed,” Smith said.
The team believes they are well prepared for the postseason as it approaches in a few months.
“I think we are exactly where we need to be going into our two week break from meets. We are looking to make some noise at state this season and are ready to show what we can do over the next two months,” Lundin said.
Their next meet is the Bellville West Invitational on April 11 at Belleville West.
